Personalization
SO realistic! In my opinion this pony is one of the best. War Pony is a "must have!" War Pony has one pink hoof and three black ones as he stands in the sandy desert with a rock and a cow skull at his feet. The sand even looks like it would pour through your fingers. He's a white horse with black spots and a brown tail (an Appaloosa), and he has a brown buffalo skin and blue pommels on his back for his warrior. It is extremely realistic and reflects the vibrancy of the Comanche in times past. You can't look at it without wanting to touch it. The height of pony goes to the tip of its spear. The mane looks so real - like one a wild horse would have.
Comanche's decorated their horses and their own bodies when they went to battle. His reins are made of real red leather, and real feathers decorate his staff, reins, tail and quiver. This pony is really decorated with all sorts of symbols on it: a dragonfly, a lightning bolt, a steers head, a charging buffalo, a hand print. Since it is made of resin, the detail is amazing. Even the lines and dots carried a message. You can read what these designs mean in the Painted Pony book we sell. This is an incredible Painted Pony.
If you only buy one pony, you should consider it being this one. The artist, Race Hood, is a popular New Mexico artist.
