Personalization
Fireman Pony was one of the ponies in the very first Trail of Painted Ponies collection Winter 2003. Fireman Pony is very popular pony and wasn't retired until July 2005. The last Fireman Pony was numbered #3E/804 - which means there were 3804 manufactured.
A husband/wife team were the creators of this Painted Pony - Dwayne & Ginger Ulibarri, Since horses were an important part of the early Fire Services, hauling water wagons to the scene of burning buildings and houses, why not create a fireman pony? Cleverly, and with humor and affection, Dwayne and Ginger Ulibarri have captured that sense of the horse as a fireman's best friend. As well as being artists in their own right, the Ulibarri's operate the Albuquerque foundry where the Painted Pony forms are cast
This Trail of Painted Pony figurine isn't a bank. It is meaningful since it interwines the spirt of the horse in the USA with the spirt of the fireman.
