Personalization
Guardian Spirit was a beaded pony is so beautiful. And, the beads tell a story. The artists, Greg and Chela Medina, are members of the Huichol tribe. The Huichol live in the Sierra Madre Mountains in Central Mexico. For centuries they have beaded decorative items to use as offerings to the gods.
The world of the Huichol is rich in symbolism and imagination. They believe that deer and wolves speak to man, that arrows carry prayers, that serpents bring rain. The images created on this pony represent life and enlightenment. Isn't it gorgeous?
Guardian Spirit was introduced Summer 2006 by Trail of Painted Ponies. It was retired July 2008. The last Guardian Spirit figurine manufactured was #3E/714. That means that 30,714 were made.
