This midnight blue pony radiates with the fantastical elements of the zodiac. Near the pony's neck flies the Pegasus, or winged horse. Following closely behind is the mythical horned Unicorn. Each image is bright and white against a star covered night sky. The belt of the heavens is represented here, including the sun, the moon and the constellations. The derivative of the zodiac is based in the Greek zodiakos, which means "sculptured animal figure." This brings an even greater significance to the Stardust Pony and the vision represented here. A full moon and a covering of stars adorn this pony and a shooting star with a golden tail decorates the base. The creator of this pony, Jane Hughes, says: "Many have gazed in wonder at the night sky and thought they've seen figures in the arrangement of stars and galaxies. In centuries past, fertile imaginations have even gone so far as to conjure gods and heroes and tell their stories in terms of myths. Many involve the horse, our respected companion on earth, our friend in the heavens"." Made of ceramic. 6" high.
