Silver bells....just seeing this pony wants me to sing the song! Yes, there are REAL jingle bells. The real bells are on the red strap that goes from side to side in the middle of the back. More are around each ankle. More are across the chest and towards the rear. The bells embedded in the green leather looking straps do not ring. Here is what the card says that is included with each pony.
"A silver-gray horse in fancy harness is the perfect representative of the beauty of the season, " according to Oregon painter/writer Janee Hughes. After looking at her Pony, shke asks us to close our eyes and imagine, "The tinkle of his sleigh bells - the only sound emerging from the deep quiet of softly falling snow. Mane flying, tail waving, and feathered legs lifted high, as he invites everyone to go for a ride!"
The base is painted a sage green and has bells painted on all 4 sides. The center of the base where the pony's hoofs rest looks like mounds of snow. The pony is white like the snow and its tail and mane are silver-gray. Base measures 6-1/2 x 2-1/2, From bottom of base to top of ear is 7-3/8 inches.
