Personalization
A wonderful pony! The Saguaro Cactus is a familiar plant in the Southwest desert. The cactus on this pony are raised to give them true depth. My immediate reaction was to touch the cactus. You'll like it better in person than via this photo.
The artist for this pony is John Geryak. For over 30 years he was the creative director of one of the nation's largest healthcare marketing agencies. When he retired, he moved to Scottsdale AZ and began a second career in art. His focus is contemporary desert landscapes.
Saguaro Stallion is a desert scene with lots of Saguaro cacti. His use of light is exceptional as he shows sunrise (front of pony) to moonrise (back of pony). The base has a few scattered stones on it. If you'd like to have a little desert in your home, this pony will do that for you!
Saguaro Stallion was introduced by Trail of Painted Ponies Winter 2005. It was retired January 2006. The last Saguarro Stallion figurine was #2E/840. That means 20,840 ponies were made.
