Personalization
The Trail of Painted Ponies introduced Rosie the Apparoosa in the Summer of 2003. She was retired very quickly in March 2004. Westland Giftware stamped the last figurine manufactured #2E/0577 That means that 20,577 were made.
The artist, Marianne Hornbuckle, Is a nationally known artist known for using florals. Rosie illustrates unusual beauty while exploring the relationships of color and value in painting. Riotous displays of multi-hued roses in bud and bloom, with not a single flower repeated, sprout from earthen hooves and thorny branch-covered legs. "I dubbed her Rosie," says Marianne, "and as she departed her first stable on a warm day in May, three real rose bushes by my studio door bloomed more profusely than any past spring."
This is the ONLY Trail of Painted Pony offered on this site that does NOT come in its box.
