Twas the Night before Chirstmas.... I remember as a 4 year old child that my parents couldn't get me to stay in bed Christmas Eve until I looked out the window and saw a red light. They told me that must be Santa's sleigh. (It was probably a red light on an airplane!) Anyway I was in bed and asleep in less than 2 minutes!. Well, here's a pony with 2 bundles of toys. On one side there is a guitar, toy soldier, Jack-in-the-Box, White horse on red platform with wheels, sailboat, doll, royal blue ball with white stars. On the other side there is a teddy bear, a football, a candy cane, a Christmas tree with gold star, a drum, a horn, and a Raggedy Ann doll. The gifts are in gold bags with dark green ties. A red bow is behind the ears with the ends of the bow flowing in the wind. Another bobw is at the top of the tail. The harness is gorgeous with red and gold stripes and tassles.
The card included with the pony reads:
"The original Santa Claus, St. Nicholas, is said to have delivered gifts to children while riding a magnificent white horse. Flying reindeer are OK, but this gifted artist from the Pacific Northwest asks us to imagine what it would look like "if Santa still delivered toys from the back of a beautiful white horse." Base is green with red squares that are angled. Top of base looks like it has glittery snow on it. Base measures 6-1/2 x 2-1/2. Pony is 6-5/8" high from bottom of base to arch of neck.
