What does the expression "Horsefeathers" mean?
The artist, Jeanne Selby, who had been an art teacher in Texas used that expression as her inspiration for this pony. Feathers of all colors adorn this pony.
The expressions "When pigs fly" or "Horsefeathers" imply that something is highly unlikely. Now you have a pony to say it for you! Since this pony is made of resin, the feathers are three-dimensional.
Horsefeathres was introduced.Summer 2005 by Trail of Painted Ponies. It was retired July 2006. The last Horsefeathers figurine manufactured was #3E/253. That meaqns 30,253 were made.
