Blue Medicine 2004 Trail of Painted Ponies

Personalization
Blue Medicine is a beautiful piece of art, one of our most beautiful ponies. At least, that's my opinion. I love the color - we haven't had much blue.
Blue Medicine celebrates Cherokee art, community, and healing practices. This painted pony stands in an intricate mosaic patterned path atop his stand. He wears a tribal sash adorned with shells and beads; his mane and the fringes of his sash are real leather. The horse's tail is decorated with feathers, and his flanks are covered with "hands of healing" in bright shades of orange, pink, red, yellow, blue, chartreuse and black. The mane and saddle blanket are exquisite.
Blue Medicine is not only a piece of art that impacts those who witness it, but it is also an intricate part of expressing healing. It's message is that "May we all remember that we should embrace the highest good for those in need." This pony acknowledges all the people, children and families of New Mexico's communities.
