The leading horse who is turning slightly, runs upright and in this moment three hooves are off the ground while one back hoof stabilizes his gate. The body face and mane are highly detailed, the muscles are bulging and the rib cage shows through.

The second horse keeps its center of gravity close to the ground, its head low. One back hoof and one front hoof are slightly off the ground as it tries to catch up.
