- This frame uses the Fallen Heroes pony and adapts it to a frame. Do you have a photo of a hero? Made of resin. It holds a 4" x 6" photo. The overall frame 9/11 continues to dwell within us. The Trail of Painted Ponies organization decided to use the symbol of the riderless horse to create this special pony. This pony was created in a collaborative effort by several artists. Did you watch the funeral procession for Ronald Reagon with the riderless horse? JFK's funeral also included the riderless horse. A quote "This emotionally stirring and uniquely American tribute to these Fallen Heroes, the brave souls who left personal safety behind while responding to a call for help." The cowboy boots in the stirrups are empty and are facing backwards. Inside the base are hats worn by officers from the NYC Fire Department, NYC Police Department and the Port Authority of NY and NJ. Bunting is hung on the front of the platform. Made of resin. Dimensions: 8"H x 7"L.measures 6" x 9".
