This sculpture is a rendering of one of the four "Horsemen of the Apocalypse", a term used to describe a concept from the New Testament of the Christian Bible, in chapter six of the Book of Revelation. The four horsemen are often referred to as Conquest, War, Famine, and Death. They are part of an apocalyptic vision in which God summons and empowers them to wreak Divine havoc on the world. This chilling sculpture represents Conquest in frightening detail. Mounted on his sinister white steed, this horseman, with a crown upon his masked head, holds his bow at the ready, an unfortunate target locked in his sights. His hand painted armor and boots are decorated with steel links and devlish designs. See below links to the other three horsemen if you wish to complete a collection. Made from cold cast resin. Dimensions: 9"H.
