The Roman charioteer is urging his steeds to even greater swiftness with his dynamic hold of the reins on this thrilling chariot sculpture.

The charioteer is dressed in an ancient Roman traditional outfit, including a detailed a tunic, cape, headpiece and sandals. His bearded face is focused as he stands in the small two-wheeled carriage which is adorned with the richly decorated carvings of the wheels, an eagle's head and jewels. The warrior leans with all of his strength back and balances on his back foot as he steers the rearing horses. The horses on this chariot sculpture are radiant and lovely with thick curly flowing manes and tails and golden coats.

This Roman charioteer sculpture stands on a heavy base with a "road" of dark gold upon which the chariot rides. This ancient bronze Roman warrior riding his chariot is an ornate masterpiece.
