The Trail of Painted Ponies created a group of four ponies representing each of the Four Seasons. This is Summer - the Summer Ballet. The pony reminds me of a lazy, hazy summer. The background of the pony is white. There are pastel, muted, hazy flowers scattered over it. Look closely and you'll see two hummingbirds on the belly. I'm guessing Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. There are also several butterflies. See the one near the end of the tail - a monarch perhaps? How many butterflies can you find? The hoofs are gold.
As a Limited Edition there will be 20,000 of Summer Ballet Pony created. There is a coin embedded in the base of each pony which states the name of the pony and the name of the artist. Summer Ballet Trail of Painted Ponies was created by artist, Joyce Kennedy. Made of resin. Dimensions: 6-3/4"H
